About me

Testing and acceptance of thermal coatings, enamelled, rubberized as well as stainless steel polished and electropolished devices for the chemical industry.

My experience with enamelled components started in 1985 (until 1990) at a German manufacturer of enamelled devices, where I worked in quality assurance. Through repairs with tantalum plugs, gold screws and gold seals, I gained a lot of experience on a variety of enamelling errors.

In 1990 I moved to a German chemical company known worldwide where I still work full-time. There I was able to expand my work experience. My area of responsibility extends to manufacturer acceptances as well as to operating shutdowns as tester / inspector of the above-mentioned surface protection layers.

Since the beginning of 2015, I have been allowed to offer the same tests and acceptances as a second job on a self-employed basis.
